The 29th roadblock of the Ukrainian army has come under attack from a militant air defense launcher near the town of Novotoshkivske in Popasna district, Luhansk Regional Military-Civilian Administration has said.
"Militants fired an air defense launcher and small arms on the 29th roadblock near the town of Novotoshkivske from the direction of the villages of Donetske and Zholobok [controlled by the LPR] at 6:30 p.m. on November 15," uhansk regional administration said in a report posted on its Facebook page on Monday.
There has been no information about casualties or damage.
"The rate of shelling incidents in the region has been growing day after day as proof of new escalation of the conflict by the terrorists. The Ukrainian stronghold was shelled by an air defense launcher, and the region had not heard the sound of its fire for a long time," Luhansk Regional Military-Civilian Administration Head Heorhi Tuka said.
