U.S. Vice President Joe Biden will visit Ukraine in early December 2015, the Ukrainian presidential website reported on Friday evening.
"The agenda of the visit includes a meeting with President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko," the statement says.
Ukrainian Ambassador to the U.S. Valeriy Chaly said on Facebook that Biden would come to Ukraine for a visit in the week beginning December 7, 2015.
"The Ukrainian president, the prime minister, Verkhovna Rada deputies, and civil society members are expected to meet with the U.S. vice president," Chaly said.
