British military mine pickers to share experience with Ukrainian colleagues
Representatives of the Military Training Team of the British Armed Forces have made a working visit to Mine Clearing Center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"This was a reconnaissance visit of our British colleagues meant to study the capabilities of our centre, a system for training combat engineers so that afterwards to elaborate the program of the course on how to reveal and neutralize home-made explosive devices and highly explosive objects," Defense Ministry quotes Acting Chief of the Mine Clearing Centre, Armed Forces Colonel Oleh Havryliuk as saying on Thursday.
British military instructors examined training and material resources of the Ukrainian centre, attended the lessons on neutralizing explosive objects and home-made explosive devices and observed the work of Ukrainian divers and dog specialists.
