Cabinet recommends declaring holidays on Jan 1-3, Jan 7-10 in 2016 as vacation days
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has recommended that January 1, 2, 3 and January 7, 8, 9, 10 in 2016 should be declared as vacation days to celebrate New Year’s Day and Christmas.
The Cabinet recommends that the heads of the enterprises, establishments and organizations should postpone the working day on January 8 to Saturday January 16 for employees who work five days a week, First Deputy Social Policy Minister of Ukraine Vasyl Shevchenko said.
The working day on December 31 could also be shortened by one hour.
