World must be ready for toughening Russia sanctions if situation in Donbas deteriorates again – Poroshenko
Ukrainian President has said he appreciates a support from the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) in a struggle against the external aggressor.
At a meeting with PACE Committee for Political Affairs Rapporteur Christina Zelenkova, he said that the international society must get ready for toughening sanctions and restrictions against Russia.
"In a case of the escalation of the situation in Donbas and in case of further non-implementation of the Minsk Agreements, international society must be ready to tougher sanctions and put restrictive measures on Russia," Poroshenko said at a meeting with Zelenkova, who came to Ukraine to draft a report on political consequences of the crisis in Ukraine.
