Over EUR 100 mln of EU humanitarian aid given to Ukraine – Poroshenko
The European Union has already provided humanitarian aid worth EUR 100 million to Ukraine, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has said.
"I would like to give thanks for the constant support the European Union renders us not just in the form of micro financial aid, which is a determinative for financial stability of Ukraine, but I also would like to say that that since just February 2015 the EU has provided over EUR 100 million of direct humanitarian aid to accommodate temporarily displaced persons," Poroshenko said at a joint briefing with EU High Commissioner for Common Foreign and Security Policy Federica Mogherini in Kyiv on Monday.
