Anti-corruption reform key to intl partners' trust in Ukraine - Mogherini
Ukraine should ensure the transparency of anti-corruption reform as it is the key to winning the confidence of the country's international partners, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini has said.
Speaking at a joint briefing with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in Kyiv on Monday, Mogherini said that anti-corruption reform is crucial for Ukraine's partners.
According to her, this reform involves the transparent formation of the Anti-Corruption Bureau, which should be carried out as quickly as possible.
The EU diplomacy chief also said that she and Porohenko had discussed judicial reform.
Brussels is ready to continue to support all of these steps in Ukraine with concrete actions, Mogherini added.
