Mogherini confirms sanctions against Russia depend on Minsk agreements implementation, end of Donbas occupation - Poroshenko
EU High Commissioner for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini has stressed that the EU's position on sanctions against Russia remains unchanged and that the sanctions are linked to the implementation of the Minsk agreements and the de-occupation of Donbas, Ukraine's President Petro Poroshenko has said.
"I was very pleased to hear the firm position of Mrs. Vice President on the sanctions that are clearly linked to the implementation of the Minsk agreements and the end of the occupation of Donbas. I am grateful to her for her advocating the need for the full implementation of the Minsk agreements," Poroshenko said at a joint briefing with Mogherini briefing after talks in Kyiv on Monday.
