Denmark foreign minister says technical aid to Ukraine could be increased
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Denmark Kristian Jensen has admitted the possibility of increasing investment in Ukraine and technical assistance for Ukrainian reforms.
According to the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine, during talks with Foreign Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin in Denmark Jensen noted the efficiency of reforms implemented in Ukraine and a consistent cooperation of the Ukrainian government with international financial organizations, which, in particular, enables Denmark to expand investment in Ukraine, increase technical assistance for reforms.
During the meeting the ministers also exchanged views on the invigoration of a political dialogue between Ukraine and Denmark in 2016 through bilateral visits at the high and the highest levels, including the first in the history of bilateral relations official visit of Danish Prime Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen to Ukraine.
"The parties agreed that the high dynamics of political contacts should become a positive signal for the recovery of bilateral trade and investment," the Ukrainian foreign ministry reported.
