Moskal tells Poroshenko he will returns to his duties as Zarkpattia governor on Monday
Head of Zakarpattia Regional State Administration Hennadiy Moskal has reported to Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and informed him that when his vacation ends on Monday he will return to his duties, the presidential press service has reported.
"On Monday I return to my duties," Moskal said during a meeting with Poroshenko.
A government source had told Interfax-Ukraine that Moskal had written a letter of resignation without specifying the reasons behind his decision. A number of media outlets had reported that the president refused to accept his resignation.
Moskal was appointed as head of Zakarpattia regional administration on July 15, 2015. Prior to this, he served as Luhansk regional governor from September 2014.
