Two Ukrainian soldiers injured in pull-action mine explosion in Luhansk region
Two servicemen were injured in the explosion of a hitherto unidentified explosive device, probably a pull-action mine, near the town of Zolote in the Luhansk region, the Luhansk region military-civilian administration has said.
The injured soldiers were taken to hospital. Doctors said their condition was serious but stable.
They are planned to be transferred to the Kharkiv hospital.
"Servicemen and local residents continue to walk into deadly 'discoveries' in the Luhansk region. A large group of sappers is working in the Luhansk region, they will have a lot to do to demine the area," Luhansk region military-civilian administration head Heorhiy Tuka said.
