Speaker closes Rada session on Thursday, postpones some bills for visa action plan liberalization for Tuesday
The Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's parliament, has postponed the discussion of some draft laws addressing some of the outstanding benchmarks of the Ukraine-EU visa liberalization action plan for Tuesday.
An Interfax-Ukraine correspondent has reported that Parliamentary Speaker Volodymyr Groysman closed the evening session of the parliament on Thursday, despite the fact that earlier MPs decided to work until they discuss all the required draft laws.
"We have many draft laws. As our voting brings no result I propose the following: I announce the evening session closed and the agenda is postponed for Tuesday," the speaker said.
On Thursday the parliament also planned to consider a draft law on elections in Mariupol and Krasnoarmiysk.
