OSCE SMM observes violations in arms withdrawal in Donbas - Hug

Members of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine (SMM) have observed violations in the withdrawal of arms by the conflicting Donbas sides, Deputy Chief Monitor Alexander Hug said at a press briefing in Kyiv on Thursday.

He said that OSCE SMM monitors had witnessed violations and urged the sides to meet their obligations within the several days left until the withdrawal deadline.

The SMM continues to observe weapon storage sites and to verify the range of weapons, he said.
