Parliament ratifies open skies agreement between Ukraine, U.S.

The Ukrainian parliament has ratified an agreement on air transportation signed by the Ukrainian and U.S. governments, the press service of the Ukrainian Infrastructure Ministry reported on Wednesday.

"The ratification of the agreement finishes internal state procedures required for the agreement to take effect," the press service said.

The open skies agreement was signed on July 14, 2015 and foresees the lifting of restrictions on the number of airlines, flights, and geography of flights between the two countries.
