Khatia Dekanoidze appointed Chief of Ukrainian National Police
Former education and science minister of Georgia Khatia Dekanoidze has been appointed as the Chief of the Ukrainian National Police.
His appointment was approved at a sitting of the Cabinet of Ministers on Wednesday evening.
Dekanoidze was nominated by Interior Minister Arsen Avakov and was presented by Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk.
