Second round of mayoral elections to be held in 29 cities, towns on Nov 15 – CEC
The second round of the mayoral elections scheduled for November 15 will be held in 29 cities, the Central Election Commission has reported on its website.
Runoffs will be held in Kyiv and in 18 city regional centers: Vinnytsia, Lutsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Uzhgorod, Zaporizhia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kirovohrad, Lviv, Mykolaiv, Poltava, Rivne, Sumy, Kherson, Khmelnytsky, Cherkasy, Chernivtsi and Chernihiv.
Ten large regional towns will also hold mayoral election runoffs, namely Dniprodzerzhynsk, Kryvy Rih, Nikopol, Pavlohrad (Dnipropetrovsk region), Kramatorsk (Donetsk region), Berdiansk, Melitopol (Zaporizhia region), Bila Tserkva (Kyiv region), Kremenchuk (Poltava region) and Severodonetsk (Luhansk region).
