Korban's human rights respected during investigation – PGO
The Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine (PGO) has said that UKROP party leader Hennadiy Korban is currently in Kyiv and is facing investigative actions as part of a new criminal case against him.
According to chief of the PGO department on investigating especially grave offences Stepan Bozhylo, he received information on Monday which led him to believe that Korban has committed a number of criminal offences. As a result, Korban the investigator decided to arrest him under Article 208 of the Criminal Code.
He said Korban's human rights have been respected during the course of the investigation, and that "nothing is threatening his life or health."
"If some health problems occur, necessary medical aid will be rendered to Korban," Bozhylo said.
