Operations of six organizations, including National Defense Foundation, worth UAH 200 mln cause suspicion – Fiscal Service

The State Fiscal Service has announced that during its investigation into an organized crime group, which UKROP Party leader Hennadiy Korban is allegedly involved with, it uncovered dubious financial transactions by six organizations, including the National Defense Foundation, worth UAH 200 million.

"With respect to the National Defense Foundation, the documents of six charitable organizations and several investment funds and financial companies were seized from the materials we've got from the Prosecutor General's Office. According to preliminary analysis we could have questions regarding these documents that need to be examined, this concerns the nature of operations worth UAH 200 million that caused suspicion," Deputy Head of the Fiscal Service Serhiy Bilan said at a briefing in Kyiv.

"This concerns the six organizations, including the National Defense Foundation," he said.
