Fiscal Service examining Privat Group payments under Korban case
The State Fiscal Service of Ukraine is examining payments made by Privat Group as part of the investigation into Hennadiy Korban, deputy chairman of the service Serhiy Bilan said at a press conference in Kyiv.
"Where did the funds come from? Preliminarily, we already see that the funds were received from different sources, in particular from one industrial and financial group which owed the state UAH 9.5 billion. The funds were not paid to the national budget and therefore were not used for social payments," he said.
As reported, former deputy head of Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration and UKROP candidate in the Kyiv mayoral election Hennadiy Korban was detained on October 31.
