U.S. Army delegation arrives in Ukraine on official visit

A U.S. Army delegation led by Chief of Staff General Mark A. Milley has arrived in Ukraine on an official visit.

"Ukraine has been consistently observing the Minsk agreements and the arrangements reached at the Paris summit of European leaders in the Normandy Four format," First Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Hennadiy Vorobyov said while meeting with the U.S. delegation, the Ukrainian General Staff's press service has reported.

The sides discussed issues related to security and identified further directions and effective forms of military cooperation. They also discussed the types of possible assistance which could be provided by the United States, taking into account the situation in eastern Ukraine.
