One Ukrainian soldier killed, three wounded in ATO zone over last 24 hours
One Ukrainian soldier was killed in an explosion and three were wounded in shelling in the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) zone in Donbas over the last 24 hours, the presidential administration spokesperson for ATO issues Oleksandr Motuzianyk has said.
"In the past 24 hours, illegal armed groups violated the ceasefire one time along the contact line – near Putylivska (former Butivka Donetska) coal mine, which is between the town of Adviyivka and the village of Spartak. The militants were firing with small arms and grenade launchers for half an hour. As a result, our three solders were wounded. One serviceman died in an explosion of an enemy booby-trap device near the village of Verkhniotoretske in Donetsk region," he said at a briefing in Kyiv on Thursday.
