One Ukrainian soldier killed in Donbas in past 24 hours

One Ukrainian serviceman has been killed in the Ukrainian army operation area in the country's eastern regions in the past 24 hours, Ukrainian presidential administration spokesman Oleksandr Motuzianyk told a press briefing in Kyiv on Tuesday.

According to Motuzianyk, this armed incident occurred near the contact line on October 26, when the Ukrainian Armed Forces' positions in the villages of Opytne and Pisky were shelled from the direction of the Donetsk airport.

"As a result, one of our servicemen was killed. The situation was quiet along the rest of the defense line yesterday," he said.
