Kernes wins first round of mayoral elections in Kharkiv - exit poll
The incumbent Kharkiv mayor, the candidate from the Vidrodzhennia (Revival) Party, Hennadiy Kernes, has won the first round of mayoral elections in Kharkiv with a score of 59.3%.
This is evidenced by the results of an exit poll conducted by the Kharkiv regional branch of the Committee of Voters of Ukraine.
Samopomich candidate Taras Sytenko gained 16.4% of the vote. Candidate from the Volunteers Party Ihor Baluta gained 5.3% of the vote, candidate from Solidarity Oleksandr Davtian 4.5%, and Darth Vader 1%.
The poll was conducted at 75 polling stations of the 75 electoral districts of the city. The planned margin of error for the leading candidates is 2.5-3% and that for non-ranking candidates is 0.5-1.0%.
