Incumbent Odesa mayor wins first round of elections - NGO For Fair Elections
Incumbent Odesa Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov has won the first round of elections for Odesa mayor, gaining 53% of the vote, NGO For Fair Elections representative Natalia Kondratyeva has reported.
Candidate from Solidarity Oleksandr Borovik ranked second with 29% of the vote, ex-mayor of Odesa Eduard Hurvits ranks third with 9%. In addition, according to the study, MP Serhiy Kivalov scored 4% of the vote, former MP Svitlana Fabrykant 2% and Darth Vader 1% of the vote.
The survey was conducted in 64 points, every one in four persons leaving the polling station was polled. The margin of error is 1.5%.
