Ukrainian PM reports stabilization in Ukraine's financial sector
The financial situation in Ukraine has stabilized, Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk said.
"The government is actively working on stabilizing the financial sector because the financial sector is a benchmark for any economy, it's an open nerve: as soon as the situation is not stable, it immediately influences the stability of the banking sector. We have finally had positive dynamics in investment in the Ukrainian banking sector for the past two months. This means that the situation is stabilizing," Yatseniuk said at the opening ceremony of a Ukrainian-German economic forum in Berlin on Friday.
