Energy ministry hopes to submit bill on electricity market to parliament in Dec
The Energy and Coal Industry Ministry of Ukraine hopes that a draft law on the electricity market would be submitted to the Ukrainian parliament in December, Head of the European integration department at the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry Mykhailo Bno-Airiian said at a briefing in Kyiv on Thursday.
"We need to agree it with the cabinet. If the government approves it in a week or two, in December it would be submitted the [parliamentary] committees. If there is a political will, the parliament could pass it in December," he said.
He added that now bylaws to the draft law are being drawn up.
