One Ukrainian soldier killed in Donbas in 24 hours

One Ukrainian serviceman was killed and another one was wounded in an explosion in Donetsk region, spokesman of the Ukrainian presidential administration for the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) Oleksandr Motuzianyk said.

"No shelling of Ukrainian positions in the anti-terrorist operation zone from the militants' side was registered in the past 24 hours. However, yesterday one of our servicemen died and one more was wounded in a blast of an explosive device in the village of Novotroitske [Volnovakha district, Donetsk region]," Motuzianyk told a briefing in Kyiv on Tuesday.

The Ukrainian military controls Novotroitske which is on the Mariupol - Donetsk route, he added.
