Fourteen die after boat capsizes in Odesa region – Interior Ministry
There were 36 people aboard the boat that sunk of the coast of Odesa region on Saturday, according to the public relations department of the Main Directorate of the Interior Ministry of Ukraine in Odesa region.
A total of 22 people were rescued. Fourteen passengers were killed. Five of the deceased haven't been identified yet.
In addition, the police are investigating whether there may have been more people on the boat, the ministry said.
At 15:38 on October 17, the leisure boat Ivolga capsized in the Black Sea near the town of Belhorod-Dnistrovsky, Odesa region.
