High-rise building in Mariupol damaged by grenade launcher shot - interior ministry
A high-rise building in Prymorsky district of Mariupol damaged by a man-portable grenade launcher shot; no one was hurt, the Ukrainian Interior Ministry's department in Donetsk region reported on Monday.
"The police were informed at about 5 a.m. about an explosion in a high-rise building on Nakhimov Avenue in the Prymorsky district of Mariupol," the report said.
The police found a spent anti-tank grenade launcher container and another one ready to use near the house. The ammunition was taken to a laboratory for examination.
Information about the incident was entered into the unified register of prejudicial injuries under Article 258 of the Ukrainian Criminal Code (terror attack). Efforts are being taken to identify and detain the perpetrators.
