Poroshenko says MH17 jetliner shot down from Russia-occupied territory using Russian weapon
Commenting on the results of the investigation into Malaysian Airlines Boeing crash in the east of Ukraine President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko underlined that it has been shot down Russia-occupied territory of Donbas using the Russian weapon.
"The missile was launched from the territory occupied by Russians," the president said during his working trip to Luhansk region on Tuesday.
Besides, the president stressed the jetliner sustained an attack of Russian Buk surface-to-air missile.
Unfortunately, Dutch investigators can't name the perpetrators of the tragedy.
"It should be done by the international tribunal," he said adding that previously Russia had blocked the decision by the UN Security Council regarding the establishment of such tribunal.
