Ukrainian Security Service chief: From 6,000 to 9,000 Russian servicemen present in Ukraine
Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) chief Vasyl Hrytsak has claimed that thousands of Russian military servicemen are currently present both on the Russian-Ukrainian border and in Ukrainian territory.
"From 6,000 to 9,000 Russian army soldiers and officers are permanently present in Ukrainian territory. I stress, on a permanent basis. And about 50,000 more on the border with Ukraine," Hrytsak said at a press conference at an SBU training center in the community of Pyatykhatky outside Kyiv on Saturday.
