Donbas elections may be held in April 2016 – Lutsenko
The elections in Donbas after the demilitarization of its territory may take place tentatively in April 2016, Yuriy Lutsenko, leader of the parliamentary faction Petro Poroshenko Bloc, said.
"The elections may theoretically take place […] approximately in April," Lutsenko told reporters in Kyiv on Wednesday.
He reiterated that it will become possible in the event of the region's demilitarization and the adoption by the Verkhovna Rada of changes to the Constitution regarding decentralization and amendments to the law on elections.
