Heavy weapons still remain on line of contact in Donbas - OSCE envoy
OSCE special envoy to Ukraine Martin Sajdik said heavy weapons were still present on both sides of the line of contact in Donbas.
Speaking to journalists in Minsk on Tuesday, Sajdik said the Trilateral Contact Group agreed at its meeting earlier in the day that new proposals should be prepared on the withdrawal, monitoring and verification of heavy weapons.
Sajdik said also that the Trilateral Contact Group's security subgroup discussed the drafting of a framework document providing guidelines on mine clearance in certain districts of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, which should be considered at the next meeting.
