Hopes of swift release of persons held illegal as result of Donbas conflict - OSCE special representative
The humanitarian subgroup of the Contact Group on Ukraine in Minsk discussed the terms of the release of people captured as a result of the conflict in Donbas, OSCE special representative Martin Sajdik told reporters on Tuesday.
The group discussed the possibility of a release of the people held illegally as a result of the conflict; it is hoped they will be released soon, Sajdik said.
He also spoke of the progress reached on the issue of international humanitarian aid delivery to the region. It became possible to deliver international humanitarian aid to the populated area on the contact line: dozens of trucks already humanitarian cargoes last week, Sajdik said.
