Special law on local elections to enable voting in certain Donbas areas in line with Minsk agreements - OSCE

The political subgroup of the Contact Group has discussed a separate law on local elections in Donbas, OSCE special representative Martin Sajdik told reporters.

The political subgroup focused on the special law on local elections in certain areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions in accordance with the outcomes of the Paris summit; having this law would enable local elections in these areas in full accordance with the Minsk agreements, Sajdik said.
