Rada fails to introduce moratorium on funds recovery from Chornomornaftogaz until 2017
The Verkhovna Rada has failed to adopt draft law No. 2060-a on introducing a moratorium on funds recovery from PJSC Chornomornaftogaz by January 1, 2017.
According to an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent, the parliament is likely to return to the issue at a later date.
Chornomornaftogaz, after the annexation of Crimea, re-registered in Kyiv and kept only three troubled asset located outside of the peninsula.
According to the company's latest quarterly report for the third quarter of 2014, its liabilities to banks amounted to UAH 475.6 million, in particular overdue liabilities totaled UAH 245.2 million, and tax liabilities stood at UAH 96.4 million.
In addition, the debt on repayable financial assistance reached UAH 12.086 billion, total liabilities - UAH 12.746 billion.
