'Normandy Quartet' leaders agree to unblock process of freeing captives in Donbas – Yeliseyev
The Russian side at the talks in Paris supported the idea of the need to unblock and accelerate the process of releasing the captives in Donbas, deputy head of the Ukrainian presidential administration, Kostiantyn Yeliseyev, said.
"In fact, the Russian side backed the idea of the need to unblock and speed up this process. So, we expect that this process will get off the ground in the near future," he told a press briefing in Kyiv on Monday.
Yeliseyev also said that the agreement on unblocking and accelerating the process of freeing hostages was thus attained in Paris. "In fact, the sides agreed in Paris on unblocking and accelerating the process of swapping captives. We hope that you will learn the good news about the release of our heroes from captivity already soon," he said.
