In Paris Russia insisted on need to defer enactment of EU-Ukraine FTA from Jan 1, 2016 effective date
The Russian delegation at the talks in Paris insisted on postponing the implementation of the trade part of the European Union-Ukraine association agreement, deputy chief of the Ukrainian presidential administration Kostiantyn Yeliseyev has said.
"They were trying to impose on us a rescheduling or postponing of temporal implementation of the so-called trade part of the association agreement, which, as you know, must come into effect from January 1, 2016. This won't happen, this idea has been rejected," he said at a briefing in Kyiv on Monday.
