Poroshenko says UN should establish Day of Remembrance for Victims of Terrorism

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has said that the UN General Assembly should consider establishing a Day of Remembrance for the Victims of Terrorism.

"I strongly believe that one of the most important aspects of fighting against terrorism is keeping and sharing the memory of the victims. In this context, I propose that the 70th Session of the General Assembly should consider the establishment of the International Day of Memory of the Victims of Terrorism," Poroshenko said while speaking at the UN General Assembly in New York on Tuesday.
