Cooperation between Ukraine, U.S. have never reached today's level – Ukrainian defense minister in Pentagon
The state of cooperation between Ukraine and the U.S. have never reached today's level in the whole history of Ukraine's independence, Ukrainian Defense Minister Col. Gen. Stepan Poltorak at a press conference in Washington.
"We feel the support and assistance provided by foreign partners. We praise our cooperation," the press service of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine reported, citing Poltorak.
He also thanked the U.S. Department of State and Defense Secretary for support and assistance.
"I'm sure we have to be together in order to meet the current challenges," Poltorak said.
