Price for gas offered by Russia is closer to fair level, hopeful for winter package – Demchyshyn
Ukrainian Energy Minister Volodymyr Demchyshyn said that the offer by Russia was at least closer to a fair level, refusing to comment further about whether or not he was satisfied with the offer by Russia over the discount for gas.
"Nothing has happened yet. Traditionally, I would suggest not commenting yet. I am convinced that today's negotiation will be very constructive," he told reporters ahead of the start of the trilateral meeting in Brussels.
He also expressed hope that documents will be signed for the winter package on Friday.
