Yatseniuk demands sanctions against Russia not be delayed
Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk insists that the sanctions imposed by the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) on individuals and entities be enforced immediately.
"The government insists on the immediate enforcement of all the sanctions authorized by the NSDC decision," the government press service has quoted Yatseniuk as saying on Friday after a government meeting.
The prime minister noted that the NSDC had decided to impose sanctions on individual constituent territories of Russia. "The first steps have been made, primarily as regards Ukrzaliznytsia," Yatseniuk said.
As reported earlier, all open cars of Russian railroad operator Freight One and its subsidiary in Ukraine that fell under the Ukrainian sanctions will be unloaded and sent outside the country.
