Blockade of Crimea continuing without incident, situation remains 'tense' – Hug
The ongoing blockade along the Crimean border in Kherson region, which is preventing trucks from entering the peninsula, is continuing without incident, deputy chief of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) in Ukraine Alexander Hug has said.
"The SMM OSCE is monitoring the blockade of three checkpoints to Crimea – Kalanchak, Chaplynka and Chonhar, organized by Crimea Tatars. The participants of the rally are not letting trucks through, but passenger transport is moving without obstacle in both directions, at all three checkpoints. The situation is tense, however there are no incidents," he said at a briefing in Kyiv on Thursday.
