Paris informed Moscow of Mistral ships' sale to Egypt - Russian deputy prime minister
France kept Russia updated on the course of negotiations concerning the sale of the Mistral-class helicopter carriers, originally built for Russia, to Egypt, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin wrote on his Twitter account on Thursday.
"I confirm that the French side kept us updated on the course of the talks with its partners concerning the sale of the Mistral-type amphibious assault ships," he said.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said earlier that Russia's interests had been taken into consideration during France's Mistral sale talks with Egypt.
