McCain to discuss corruption in Ukraine at upcoming meeting with Poroshenko, Yatseniuk
U.S. Senator John McCain will meet with President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatseniuk to discuss combating corruption in the country and other issues.
At a briefing in Odesa on Wednesday, McCain said that the issue of corruption requires special attention, and though definite success has been achieved, a lot remains to be done for Ukrainians to really feel that they live in a new country.
For his part, Head of Odesa Regional State Administration Mikheil Saakashvili confirmed that McCain will meet with Poroshenko and Yatseniuk.
