Turchynov hopes restrictions on precision arms shipments to Ukraine will be lifted
Secretary of Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council Oleksandr Turchynov hopes that no artificial limitations will be placed on military and technical cooperation between Ukraine and other countries.
"We certainly do not have enough high-precision weapons, and then we're still facing quite a complicated process of negotiations – until our strategic partners realize that it's the Ukrainian army, Ukrainian Armed Forces with the most advanced equipment that can be a factor of peace in Europe, security in Europe . I am convinced that this understanding has come to many and all the limitations in military and technical cooperation, shipments of precision weapons to Ukraine will be lifted," he told journalists in Kyiv on Tuesday.
