Ukraine's defense industry should retake position on global arms markets - Turchynov

Ukraine's military industrial sector should retake its position on the global arms markets, according to Secretary of Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council Oleksandr Turchynov said.

"It's important that our defense industry not only regains its position due to the demand of our army and our military formations, but also retake its positions on the global arms market," he said at the official opening ceremony of the 12th international specialized exhibition 'Arms and Security 2015' in Kyiv on Tuesday.

Ukrainian experts are working in that direction, he said.

"It's very important that all restrictions in the military and technical cooperation that have artificially been created on our way be removed," he said.
