NATO states don't recognize 'fake elections' in Donbas – Secretary General
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has said that none of the member states of the alliance recognize the legitimacy of so-called elections proclaimed by leaders of Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics, which will be held in violation of Ukrainian legislation.
Speaking alongside Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko at a briefing in Yavoriv range in Lviv region on Monday, Stoltenberg said that any elections which take place in eastern Ukraine, and which don't meet Ukrainian legislation, will constitute nothing else but a violation of the Minsk agreements, they will be considered fake, and not a single NATO member state will accept them.
