Documentary on Maidan wins Toronto Film Festival award

Winter on Fire, Ukraine's Fight for Freedom has won the People's Choice award at the International Toronto Film Festival.

According to the festival's website, the movie won the documentary category.

The film which was produced by Ukraine, the U.S. and the UK, is about the protests on Maidan in the center of Kyiv in the winter of 2013-2014, which led to the Revolution of Dignity.
