Shelling incidents practically stop in eastern Ukraine

Ukrainian Presidential Administration spokesman for military issues Andriy Lysenko has declared a practically complete truce in Donbas.

Last night was quiet in the army operation zone, he said.

"The ceasefire is in effect in every sector," he told reporters at a press briefing in Kyiv on Saturday.

The only violation of truce was observed in the Donetsk sector, Lysenko said. Ukrainian positions near the Svitlodarsk water reservoir came under grenade launcher fire on Friday evening.

"No armed provocations of illegal armed units were observed in the Luhansk and Mariupol areas," Lysenko said.
